Light Behind

A sonnet

The spirit saw some light behind the dark,
Much darker dark than even ghosts attain.
A demon made a trap out in the park
On spirits path to haunt boy’s house again.

The boy sits in his attic and he waits
For brother’s ghost to come back late that night.
Each spot of green behind those darkest fates,
Our hearts forgotten shadows hide the light.

This ghost turned back, was warned by what it knew
And saw that greenest light left in plain sight.
The demon did what only it could do.
A boy mixed dead and living, what a fright.

Our love is love and love holds on so tight,
To all of nature’s living bright green light.
