I Honor The Place In You Where The Whole Universe Resides

Awaken to the love within.

There are so many different ways to ask this interesting question because it is a subjective claim. It extends to the understanding of the nature of your belief. In the end, it all comes down to this: `Who or what is God?’

A quick search of the word ‘god’ reveals the following:

— The creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being, a superhuman being or spirit worshipped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity

— A deity or god is a supernatural being considered divine or sacred, usually worshipped by people who believe it controls or exerts force over some aspect of the world.

Everything comes into existence by and through the movement of God. But Who or What is God? Contrary to popular belief, it is not a being or power outside of yourself.

Let’s consider you, seated as you are now. You can move without physically moving because yours is an eternal body. Close your eyes for a moment. Think about the last holiday you had with your family. See the place with your mind’s eye. How was the weather? Was it hot in summer or cold in winter? What about the surroundings? Was it crowded? The places you visited, what did you see? Beautiful surroundings, busy malls, or a leisurely walk by the beach. What can you smell in the air?

Where have you been? You have moved. And you are moving despite you seated right here reading this article. What was that? It was all imagination. Just as you can imagine a good thing, you can just as well imagine a bad thing. You can be where you choose to be. So if you find yourself in a place where you are miserable and feel helpless, it is because you either knowingly or unknowingly put yourself into that state. It is not because some deity or god outside of you has condemned you into that state.

You are God’s power and wisdom, called Christ in scripture.
