How much do gift cards from The Loyalty Store cost?

The Loyalty Store only supports eGift Cards, and we handle activation and balance tracking as part of the overall service. Thus, there is no charge for the card. There is a charge the business pays at checkout: standard stripe fees of 2.90% + 30 cents per successful transaction plus a $5.00 processing fee on regular gift cards, and a 20% commission fee for promotional gift cards. Note: There are no monthly subscription or activation fees to use gift cards.

Yes. You issue promotional gift cards. You can also apply a discount to a gift card sale.

Yes — when seeing up a gift card program, you can apply a discount to the sale. For example, if your customer purchases a $50 gift card and you’d like to discount the total sale by $10, we will apply a $10 discount. Your customer will receive a $50 gift card and will have paid $40.

The full price paid for the gift cards will not expire. However, the promotional value from gift cards may have an expiration date attached.

Yes. We encourage customers to sign up on TheLoyaltyStore.com, after which they will have one centralized place to view all of their gift card purchases.

Yes. If somebody asks you about the promotion, you can simply login to the consumer site, and send them a gift card as if they were receiving it as a gift.

Not at this time. All eGift Cards are processed in-store only.

You have to create a campaign to get started. As part of our service, you must offer a promotion to get activated. For example, a $50 available for $40.

You’ll receive the funds from the sale of a gift card when it is loaded and sold, bi-monthly (applying to a minimum $500 increment in sales). You won’t receive a deposit for purchases made with a gift card, as it’s deducting pre-paid credit that was paid when the gift card was purchased.

Yes. Your gift cards can be issued and redeemed at any location. You can even apply special store-specific promotions. Just let us know during your campaign creation.

No. Your gift cards can only be redeemed at your business (at the store/address listed in the sale description) and won’t be valid anywhere else.

You can check the balance anytime by viewing the gift card in Your Account on The Loyalty Store website.

Due to the nature of some gift cards, and the fact that they are eGift Cards linked to your account, purchasing a card online will result in a new card in Your Order History information.

There are no refunds for gift cards purchased off of the website.
